On 25.03.2016, the intra-college competition “The best teacher of the Republican Medical College – 2016” was held.
The purpose of the Competition is to identify talented, creatively working teachers who implement an educational program using modern teaching methods to train competitive specialists.
The objectives of the Competition are: to identify creatively working teachers with a high professional rating; to realize the creative potential of teachers and improve their pedagogical skills; to stimulate the achievement of high results in teaching; to identify and disseminate best practices, the introduction of innovative technologies in medical and pharmaceutical education; public recognition and encouragement of teachers’ personal contribution to the development of medical and pharmaceutical education.
Contest participants
The competition was held in three stages:
Stage I. Self-presentation “My pedagogical credo”
The presentation was carried out using information and communication technologies
Evaluation criteria for stage I:
knowledge and understanding of modern trends in the development of education and society;
the ability to relate them to their professional activities and personal development;
general and pedagogical erudition;
directing and acting skills;
culture of public speaking.
Stage II. Testing. The contestant answered 60 test tasks. The criteria for evaluating the test results were evaluated according to a five-point system. Testing time: 60 minutes. Testing is carried out in the Testing Center.
Stage III. The practical part. Panorama of the class: “The organizational moment of the training session” in the taught academic discipline.
Evaluation criteria:
the contestant’s communicative qualities (possession of the audience, general erudition, communication style), the image of the teacher;
creation of a working environment by the teacher, the mood to work together according to the lesson plan;
the ability of the teacher to interest students in the topic of the lesson, activation of attention, creation of a high level of motivation;
connection of the topic of the lesson with the future professional activity of students;
originality of methodological techniques, acting and directing skills of the teacher.
The contestants also provided an educational and methodological complex reflecting the innovative experience of the teacher and demonstrating the quality of the presentation of educational information on the Internet.
Evaluation criteria:
compliance of the content of the educational and methodical complex (UMK) with the current state Standard, standard curricula, methodological recommendations for the development of UMK;
educational, methodological value of the posted materials;
culture of information presentation.

Summing up the results of the competition and awarding the winners:
The Competition Commission evaluates the performance of competitive tasks in points in accordance with the criteria. The winner is determined from among the participants of the third round who scored the most points.
The winner of the Competition was the teacher of “Kazakh language and literature”, Zakenova Bakhytzhan Zakenovna, who scored 27.7 points in three Rounds of the Competition, she was awarded the diploma “The best teacher of medical colleges of Kazakhstan – 2016”.
The next two contestants:Sazanbayeva Anar Aryngazievna, a teacher of the discipline “Fundamentals of Nursing” who scored 18 points, Zhyrgalova Ainur Omirbayevna, a teacher of the discipline “Informatics” – 15.8 points were awarded the 2nd and 3rd places with the corresponding diplomas.
The rest of the contest participants were awarded certificates for participation.
