The date was approved at the General Conference of the International Council of museums in 1977.
In honor of this holiday, the groups E04-21, E02-21, E06-21 visited the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the lesson “history of Kazakhstan”.
Since 1931, the museum has been designed by the famous architect of the city of Verny A. P. Zenkov from 1904 to 1907. it was located in the building of the former Cathedral, which was built.
The modern building of the museum was built in 1985 according to the projects of architects Yu.Ratushny, Z. Mustafina and B. Rzagaliyev. Today, the fund of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of about three hundred thousand valuables of material and spiritual culture. The museum has seven main exhibition halls.
